If your ARK: Ascended server displays a “Mods are for PC only” error, it is usually caused by cosmetic mods being loaded incorrectly. This can happen after a game update or if the mod is not properly recognized by the server.
Before making any changes, stop your server from the control panel. Then open your server configuration file (GameUserSettings.ini) and locate the [ServerSettings] section. Add the following line:
After updating the configuration, install the cosmetic mod via the in-game mod browser. Once done, make sure the mod ID is removed from the command line before starting the server again.
